NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGÂ ON PROPOSED BUDGETÂ FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Campton Hills, Kane County, Illinois (the “Corporate Authoritiesâ€) on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 6:30P.M. at the Campton Hills Village Hall, 40W270 LaFox Road, Suite B, Campton Hills, IL to consider the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.
The proposed Fiscal year 2026/2027 Annual Budget includes total revenues of $4,893,539 and total expenditures of $5,623,199. The proposed General Fund Fiscal Year 2026/2027 Annual Budget consists of $3,129,323 in revenues and $3,662,973 in expenditures.
YOU ARE HEREBY invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard or to submit written testimony in respect to an issue pertaining to the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027, or any line item or matter therein contained. A copy of the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027 is available online at www.camptonhills.illinois.gov. For a printed copy of the proposed Fiscal Year 2026/2027 Annual Budget, please contact Village Hall at 630-584-5700 or email the Budget Officer, Russ Cerqua, rcerqua@camptonhills.illinois.gov.
After the public hearing and before final action is taken on the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027, the Corporate Authorities may revise, alter, increase, or decrease any line item contained in the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027. The proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027 may be adopted at any time after the public hearing.
The public is asked to submit written testimony in advance of the public hearing to the office of the Village Clerk Tracy Johnson at tjohnson@camptonhills.illinois.gov. Written testimony concerning the proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026/2027 should be submitted to the Village Clerk before 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in order to be read at the public hearing.
