PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING A HEARING
ON A PETITIONÂ
FOR A TEXT AMENDMENT AND SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW AN AUTISM BEHAVIORAL THERAPY CENTER AT 1025 RED OAK LANE AND 1055 E. GRAND AVENUE
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lindenhurst Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., at the Lindenhurst Village Hall, 2301 E. Sand Lake, Lindenhurst, Illinois, to discuss and hear testimony about an application requesting approval of (i) a text amendment to the Village’s Zoning Ordinance to authorize offices of mental health practitioners except physicians as a special use in the PUD-3 zoning district, (ii) a special use for a mental health practitioner office, and (iii) any other zoning relief necessary to allow an autism behavioral therapy establishment on a portion of the property located at 1025 Red Oak Lane and 1055 E. Grand Avenue, Lindenhurst, Illinois, and identified by the following Permanent Index Numbers (PINs): 06-03-104-003, 06-03-104-004 respectively.
All persons interested in the application should attend and will be given an opportunity to provide written and oral testimony on the application for zoning relief. The public hearing may be continued from time to time without further public notice.
