Please take notice that on Monday, February 9, 2026 at the hour of 7:35 p.m. at the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, the Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning Commission, will conduct a public hearing to consider text a amendment to the Zoning Ordinance regarding short-term rentals and the maximum number of days for which a residential structure may be rented as follows:
Amend Elk Grove Zoning Ordinance Section 2-2 Definitions, adjusting the definition of short-term rentals for residential structures from thirty (30) consecutive days to ninety (90) consecutive days.
All persons interested are invited to attend and will be given the opportunity to be heard. This hearing will be accessible to individuals with disabilities. Anyone requiring accommodations is requested to contact the Village Clerk at (847) 357-4041, preferably no later than five days before the hearing.
