Public notice is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 2nd day of December, 2025 A.D. at seven oâclock (7:00 P.M.) Central Time, in the evening of said day, a public hearing will be held at the Kane County Government Center, Bldg. A, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva, IL, to consider the petition of Amerigo Romano, appealing from a ruling from the Zoning Enforcing Officer, requesting variances to allow a new home to be constructed at the end of the right-of-way to Kane Avenue (0â setback, 35â variance). The petitioner is also requesting a lot size variance (11,500 square foot lot, 8,500 square foot variance from the 20,000 square foot minimum) to allow for the new home to be constructed on the property. The petitioner is also seeking (4â setback, 6â variance) from the north property line and (21â setback, 14â variance from the right-of-way) to allow for the conversion and use of the existing home as a storage building on the following described property: Lots 2185, 2186, 2187, 2189, 2207 and the S 4 ft of Lot 2208 in Map 3 of the Fox River Heights, bng a subdn of pt of sections 3 and 10, Twp 40 N, Rge 8 E of the 3rd PM, bng sitd in the Village of Valley View, KCI. The property is located on the northeast corner of Jackson and Kane Avenues (09-10-104-020). All interested persons and especially those owning adjacent and adjoining property are requested to attend said hearing.
