Request for Proposals
Schaumburg Township District Library, IL will accept Requests for Proposals (RFP) for an exterior Garage Door Replacement Project at the Central Branch location.
The Proposer must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. It is the policy of the Library to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts. Accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued against this invitation to Proposal.
There will be an optional site visit to review the scope of work. Location: 130 S Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193

Time: 10:00 a.m. CT
The proposals for the above services must be received on or before 11:00 a.m., Local Time, Wednesday, August 12, 2026 either via e-mail using PDF format to the address: proposals@stdl.org -or- in written form using a sealed envelope:

All bids will be publicly opened immediately thereafter in the Rasmussen Room North. Late bids will be rejected.

The Library reserves the right to reject any and all submittals or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the RFP. The Schaumburg Township District Library does not discriminate in admission, access to, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities.
General questions regarding this Legal Notice and all detailed questions concerning the RFP documents must be submitted by e-mail to proposals@stdl.org by August 3, 2026. Responses and/or addendum will be posted online by August 5, 2026.
Following the proposal review, a recommendation for the most responsible bid will be provided to the Library Board for approval at the next earliest Library Board meeting.
