RESOLUTION: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON FISCAL YEAR 2026-27 BUDGET
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Board of Education of Community Consolidated School District 21, Cook County, State of Illinois, to fix the time and place for a public hearing on the Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027, to fix the place where the same will be conveniently available for public inspection, and to direct that notice of the public hearing and place of inspection be published according to law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education of Community Consolidated School District 21, Cook County, State of Illinois, as follows:
1. That a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Budget shall be held at 7:00 p.m. CST on Thursday, the 17th day of September, 2026, at the School District Administrative Office at 959 West Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois.
2. That a copy of the School District's tentative budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, be available for public inspection at the School District Administrative Office, 959 West Dundee Road, Wheeling, Illinois, and on the School District’s website at www.ccsd21.org on or before the 20th day of July, 2026.
3. That the Secretary of this Board be directed to publish notice of hearing on the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Budget and Appropriation Ordinance in the “Daily Herald”, a newspaper of general circulation published in the School District.
