REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS AND PROPOSALS

The Village of Carpentersville requests a Proposal from qualified firms for the design, fabrication and construction services of a modular, container-based live training structure. The system shall be a prefabricated, integrated training solution from a single vendor, primarily utilizing owner-supplied ISO shipping containers. The structure shall support firefighter training consistent with applicable NFPA standards and include realistic interiors with doors, windows, and hallways. Priority will be given to systems emphasizing modular design, long-term adaptability, lifecycle cost efficiency, The system shall allow future relocation, reconfiguration, or expansion without major structural modification. The Proposal shall include services to provide concepts, design, revisions, final design, permitting, cost estimates, construction, and all other incidental and collateral work necessary to complete this project.
Qualifications and proposals for the Village of Carpentersville Live Fire Training Structure (Modular Container System) will be received by the Village of Carpentersville, Public Works Department, 1075 Tamarac Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110 until 3:00 PM central time, July 22, 2026

The Village retains the right to refuse any and all proposals. Conditional proposal, or those which take exception to the Contract documents without prior written approval from the Village, may be considered non-responsive and may be rejected.
