PUBLIC NOTICE
The Village of West Dundee Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing in consideration of the following petition:
Petition 25-05: An application has been filed by Big Rig I West Dundee Propco LLC, for the purposes of constructing a freestanding pylon sign on the property legally described as follows:
LOT 3 IN AIRPORT SUBDIVISION, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF THE SOUTHWEST FRACTIONAL QUARTER OF SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 42 NORTH, RANGE 8, EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED DECEMBER 19, 2023, AS DOCUMENT 2023K044214, IN KANE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
CONTAINING 486,336 SQUARE FEET, (11.165 ACRES) MORE OR LESS.
The applicant is requesting consideration of variations from the Sign Regulations for Route 31 Commercial Area (Section 9-4-8D of the West Dundee Municipal Code) to allow copy area beyond the maximum allowable 100 square feet and height beyond the maximum allowable 15 feet for a monument sign.
The West Dundee Planning and Zoning Commission will hold this public hearing on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 7:30 p.m., at Village Hall, 102 S 2nd Street, West Dundee. All interested parties are welcome to attend.
