NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing before the Planning & Zoning Commission of the Village of Oak Brook, DuPage and Cook Counties, Illinois, will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in the Samuel E. Dean Board Room of the Butler Government Center, Village of Oak Brook, 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523 for the purpose of considering the application from the Petitioner, Murphy Development Group, LLC, with approval of the owner Franklin 1900 Spring Road, LLC, seeking a planned development as provided for under Chapter 15 of Title 13, the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Oak Brook, Illinois, Ordinance G-60 as amended.
The Petitioner has submitted an application, case number 2025-12-ZO-PUD (PD-26-2), seeking approval of a planned development to be located on the property at 1315 16th Street, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523, as further described below.
Project Description: Applicant/Owner have applied to the Village for planned development approval to authorize the construction of a 13-story building on the site. This location was previously approved for the Butler condominium project. The applicant proposes to construct 115 rental units with an average size of 1,382 sq. ft., 240 interior parking spaces, and added amenities of a pool, gym, outdoor seating areas, a golf simulator, climate-controlled storage, and co-working spaces.
The subject property is generally described as 1315 16th Street, Oak Brook, IL 60523 - permanent index number: 06-23-302-007, located at the corner of 16th Street and Spring Road.
The petitionerĂ¢s application, including all supporting documents is on file with the Director of Development Services. Persons wishing to examine the petition documents may arrange to do so with the Development Services Department, Village of Oak Brook, 1200 Oak Brook Road, Oak Brook, IL 60523, telephone 630-368-5103, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday Ă¢" Friday, excluding holidays.
