Notice is hereby given that the Carol Stream Plan Commission/Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing at the Carol Stream Gregory J. Bielawski Municipal Center, 500 N. Gary Avenue, Carol Stream, Illinois, on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. to consider an application from Meridian Carol Stream, LLC for the following actions:
A Zoning Map Amendment to rezone the subject properties to R-4 Multiunit Residence District upon annexation, in accordance with Section 16-8-4 (N) of the Carol Stream Unified Development Ordinance;
A Special Use Permit for a Multiple-Dwelling Unit Complex, in accordance with Section 16-3-11 of the Carol Stream Unified Development Ordinance;
Parking Lot Variation, in accordance with Section 16-4-4 (D) of the Carol Stream Unified Development Ordinance;
Perimeter Landscaping Variation, in accordance with Section 16-5-6 (B)(1) of the Carol Stream Unified Development Ordinance; and
Density Variation, in accordance with Section 16-3-4 (E)(2)(G)(1) of the Carol Stream Unified Development Ordinance;
For the property located at 489 S. Gary Avenue (PIN 05-05-400-009, 05-05-400-010, 05-05-400-011, 05-05-400-012, 05-05-400-013, 05-05-400-032, 05-05-400-033, 05-05-400-015, 05-05-400-016)
The hearing will be held in-person and via a web conference meeting. The web conference will allow the public to view the meeting online or listen to the meeting.
