The St. Charles Park District will have a 2nd public meeting to review concept plans for a potential renovation of existing and the addition of new amenities at Cambridge Park. Amenities could include a new playground, improved walking trails, ADA accessibility, native landscaping, green infrastructure, games and shade. The Park District is applying for an Open Space and Land Acquisition Development (OSLAD) administered through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources to assist in funding the proposed improvements. The public input meeting will be held in person and facilitated by Park District staff at Cambridge Park, 1800 S Tyler Road, St. Charles 60174 on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 5:15pm to 6:15pm in an open house, drop in format.
