NOTICE OPEN HOUSE PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING â€" ELMHURST ROAD FROM DEVON AVENUE TO GREENLEAF AVENUE, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm TO BE HELD AT: Elk Grove Village Public Works 450 E Devon Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Elk Grove Village will host a Public informational Meeting concerning the proposed roadway improvements along Elmhurst Road, from Devon Avenue to Greenleaf Avenue. The scope of work involves reconstruction / resurfacing of Elmhurst Road, intersection improvements and bicycle/pedestrian accommodations. The purpose of the Public Informational Meeting is to review the need for improvement, present the preferred alternative and solicit public input. Exhibits showing the proposed improvements will be on display and Village representatives will be present to answer any questions and record comments. Written comments may be submitted at Village Public Works, mailed to Village Public Works (450 E. Devon Ave. Elk Grove Village, IL 60007), or submitted electronically to kjay@elkgrove.org. Comments received by August 18, 2026, will be included as a part of the public record. Disabled persons planning to attend this meeting, who need special accommodations, such as sign language interpreter or other similar assistance, should notify the Village.
