ORDINANCE NO. 170
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LEVYING
AND COLLECTION OF TAXES
FOR CORPORATE PURPOSES OF THE
GLENBROOK SANITARY DISTRICT,
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1, 2025 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2026
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Glenbrook Sanitary District, Cook County, Illinois (the “Districtâ€) is authorized by law to levy and collect taxes for corporate purposes of the District upon property within the territorial limits of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the GLENBROOK SANITARY DISTRICT, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1: There is hereby levied for general corporate purposes of the District, upon all taxable property located within the territorial limits of the District, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026, the sum of One Hundred Five Thousand, Six Hundred Ninety-Three Dollars ($105,693).
SECTION 2: The District Clerk or her designee is hereby directed to file a certified copy of this Ordinance with the County Clerk of Cook County, Illinois, on or before the last Tuesday in December 2025.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and public publication in pamphlet form (which publication is hereby authorized) as provided by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Glenbrook Sanitary District, Cook County, Illinois, on the 11th day of December, 2025.
