NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Mt. Prospect Park District is accepting sealed bids for RecPlex Pool - Dehumidification Unit Replacement. Questions regarding this project and call for bids should be directed to Keith Christian, 20/10 Engineering Group, LLC, 1216 Tower Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60173, 847-882-2010 or keith@2010engineering.com.
The bid packet, specifications, and plans are available electronically from BHFX Imaging. Printed sets of bid documents and digital downloads will be available for purchase at www.bhfxplanroom.com. If you have any questions, please contact BHFX Imaging at 847-593-3161 Option 7.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will take place on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 8:30 am at RecPlex Pool located at 420 W. Dempster St., Mount Prospect, IL 60056.
Sealed bids for this work must be received no later than Thursday February 5, 2026 at 11:00 am, sharp.
Sealed bids for this work must be delivered in a sealed envelope and marked “RecPlex Pool - Dehumidification Unit Replacement.” Bids can be mailed or brought to the Mt. Prospect Park District, Walter Cook Maintenance Facility, 1645 Carboy Road, Mount Prospect, Illinois 60056; Attention: Matt Dziubinski.
The Park Board of the Mt. Prospect Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids in full or in part, if it is deemed to be in the public’s best interest to do so.
The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work; also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or perform such work and it shall be mandatory upon the contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him, to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract or such work.
