NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that Western DuPage Special Recreation Association is accepting sealed bids for the Parking Lot Improvements project. Such proposals as herein concerned shall be for the following as described:
Bid Group #2, Bid Packages 2
Bid Package #2 - Excavation & Site Utilities
SEALED BIDS will be received by the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association at the date and time stated below:

Bids will be publicly opened and read at 11:00 AM (CDT) on the bid due date noted. Any bid received after the time and date stated above will be returned unopened to Bidder.
Pre-qualification of all bidders in this bid group is required prior to the bid due date. Submit one fully executed copy of AIA Document A305 “Contractor’s Qualification Statement” prior to submitting this bid form via email to Patricia Garcia at pgarcia@wightco.com.
The competency and responsibility of the bidders will be considered in making awards. The successful bidder shall, upon acceptance of his bid, be required to procure and pay for a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. Bonds shall comply with all laws of the State of Illinois governing public contracts let by governmental units. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid shall be submitted with the Bid. Bid security is required of all parties submitting a bid. A fully executed and compliant Bid Security must be included with the Bid Form.
All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
The Construction Manager for this project is Wight Construction Services, Inc. All questions concerning this project or those concerning bidding requirements should be directed to: George Gardner at ggardner@wightco.com Questions must be received via email to ggardner@wightco.com by February 24, 2026, 12:00 PM.
No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Chief Procurement Officer for a period of 60 days after the scheduled time of the bid opening.
The Western DuPage Special Recreation Association reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities, technicalities and irregularities in the bidding.
Bidders shall comply with all provisions and laws of the United States and State of Illinois concerning Public Works projects including but not limited to the Illinois Human Rights Act, and the regulations of the Illinois Human Rights Commission.

NOTICE OF BIDDING
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners of the Glenview Park District, Glenview, Illinois for CONCRETE & ASPHALT PROJECTS 2026 in accordance with instructions to bidders and specifications.
Proposals will be received until THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2026, 10:00 AM at the office of the Glenview Park District, 655 Zenith Drive, Glenview, Illinois, 60025, at which time and place all bids will be publicly read. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public opening is for information only, and is not to be construed as acceptance or rejection of any bid. Award to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days.
Contractor is responsible for all measurements and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. The Park District has determined that the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this work and therefore Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every Subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq.
The successful bidder shall also comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work or the project.
Bidders are required to use the proposal form supplied with the specifications. All proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside, "SEALED BID: CONCRETE & ASPHALT PROJECTS 2026"
