NOTICE OF SALE
of Property Owned by the Village of North Aurora
and Invitation to Bid Thereon
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of North Aurora will receive sealed bids for the purchase of the fee simple interest in the real property located at 1111 Orchard Gateway Blvd, North Aurora, IL 60542, identified by PIN number 15-05-326-003, and legally described as follows:
Lot 2 in the First Resubdivision of Lots 19, 20 and 22 of North Aurora Towne Centre, in North Aurora, Kane County, Illinois 60542.
Bids for the purchase of the aforesaid interest in the above-described property are hereby invited and will be received by the North Aurora Business Services Manager at the North Aurora Village Hall 25 East State Street North Aurora, IL 60542 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from the date of this notice until noon on Monday, June 8, 2026. All bids shall include the following terms:
1. The minimum bid price shall be $1,000,000;
2. The purchaser shall be a seller at retail that plans to develop the property for retail use and apply for a building permit within one (1) year of the date of acquisition.
Said proposals shall be addressed to:

and shall bear the legend “Proposal â€" Sale of 1111 Orchard Gateway Blvd” and the name and address of the bidder.
All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the President and Trustees of the Village of North Aurora at 7:00 p.m. on June 15, 2026.
A contract may be negotiated and approved to the highest bidder whose bid is found to be in the best interests of the Village of North Aurora. The Village of North Aurora reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The Village of North Aurora further reserves the right to review and study any and all bids and to make a contract award within thirty (30) days after the bids have been opened and publicly read.
Copies of the bidding documents may be obtained at the office of the North Aurora Village Clerk.
