NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE that on the 1st day of June 2026, at the hour of 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Deer Park will conduct a public hearing at Vehe Barn, 23570 W. Cuba Road, Deer Park, Illinois 60010, upon a petition submitted by Crystal Overton, as Owner of a parcel consisting of approximately 0.3 acre (12,925 square feet), located at 54 Deerpath, Deer Park, Illinois, to allow a variations from side yards setback regulations.
The Applicant requests approval of zoning variation from 158.27(H) which requires a minimum thirty-foot (30’) side-yards setback of the Village Code, to allow a sixteen foot by sixteen foot (16’ x 16’) deck to be located approximately four feet (4’) from the north side lot line and approximately twenty-nine point seven feet (29.7’) from the south lot line due to existing lot size.
The subject property is zoned R-1 Single-Family Residential and is located within the corporate limits of the Village of Deer Park.
