NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Village of Glen Ellyn (“Village”) Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on February 26, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Galligan Board Room, Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 on the application of Holladay Properties. (“Petitioner”), regarding the property located at 464 Glenwood Avenue, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 (“Subject Property”), regarding a request for an Amendment to the Final Planned Unit Development to allow the construction of six (6) private outdoor decks and one (1) private outdoor patio to be located north of the building to be accessed by ground floor residential units.
The Subject Property is comprised of approximately 0.64 acres and is located on the north side of Crescent Boulevard between Prospect Avenue and Glenwood Avenue, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137. The property is zoned C5B Central Service Subdistrict.
The Plan Commission will consider the petitioner’s requests for approval an amendment to Ordinance No. 6970 for a second amendment to the Glenwood Station Planned Unit Development with the following deviations, in accordance with Section 10-10-15 of the Glen Ellyn Zoning Code:
1. A deviation from Section 10-5-5(B)(4)(8) to allow one (1) or more decks to be located within the required side yard; and
2. A deviation from Section 10-5-5(B)(4)(39) to allow one (1) or more terraces (patios) to be located within the required side yard.
The Subject Property is legally described as follows:
THE SOUTH 110 FEET OF ALL THAT PART OF BLOCK 5, IN THE TOWN OF DANBY (ALSO BLOCK 5 IN THE PLAT OF COUNTY CLERK'S SECOND ASSESSMENT DIVISION), ALL IN THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, LYING EAST OF THE WEST LINE OF LOT 3 IN MORRELL'S PLAT OF LOTS 2 AND 3, BEING PART OF SAID BLOCK 5 ACCORDING TO THE PLAT OF SAID MORRELL'S LOTS RECORDED JANUARY 10, 1962 AS DOCUMENT R62-994, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners of the Glenview Park District, Glenview, Illinois for CONCRETE & ASPHALT PROJECTS 2026 in accordance with instructions to bidders and specifications.
Proposals will be received until THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2026, 10:00 AM at the office of the Glenview Park District, 655 Zenith Drive, Glenview, Illinois, 60025, at which time and place all bids will be publicly read. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public opening is for information only, and is not to be construed as acceptance or rejection of any bid. Award to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days.
Contractor is responsible for all measurements and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. The Park District has determined that the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this work and therefore Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every Subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq.
The successful bidder shall also comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work or the project.
Bidders are required to use the proposal form supplied with the specifications. All proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside, "SEALED BID: CONCRETE & ASPHALT PROJECTS 2026"
