PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Village of Glen Ellyn (âVillageâ) Plan Commission will conduct a public hearing on February 26, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Galligan Board Room, Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 on the application of La Gambina Homes Inc. (âPetitionerâ) owner of the property located at 22W584 Ahlstrand Road, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137 (âSubject Propertyâ), for approval of a Final Plat of a Minor Subdivision with variations from the Villageâs Subdivision Code. The requested Final Plat of a Minor Subdivision is to subdivide the existing property into two parcels with the intention of being annexed to the Village and developed with two new single-family homes at a future date. The Subject Property is comprised of approximately 0.916 acres and is located at the northeast corner of Ahlstrand Road and Oaklawn Drive, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137.
The Petitioner seeks the following variations from the Villageâs Subdivision Code:
1. A variation from Section 11-4-4(M) to not provide streetlights along adjacent portions of Ahlstrand Road and Oaklawn Drive.
2. A variation from Section 11-4-7 to not provide sidewalks along adjacent portions of Ahlstrand Road and Oaklawn Drive.
The Subject Property is legally described as follows:
LOT 89 IN FIRST ADDITION TO AHLSTRANDâS ARBORETUM ESTATES, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF PART OF SECTIONS 26 AND 27, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 10 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED APRIL 6, 1955, AS DOCUMENT 752019, IN DUPAGE COUNTY ILLINOIS.
