NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 6th day of November, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, at 100 North Island Avenue, Batavia, Illinois, the Plan Commission of the City of Batavia will meet and a Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Chapter 5.7 of the Batavia Zoning Code (City Code Title 10) to consider an Amendment to the Official Zoning Map for a portion of the property located at 1119 North Washington Avenue (PINs 12-25-202-005 and 12-15-401-001). The property owner is Richard W. Eckblade Declaration of Trust, Richard W. Eckblade, Trustee. The applicant for said Amendment is the City of Batavia, 100 N Island Av, Batavia, IL 60510. The City of Batavia proposes to amend the Zoning Map designation for the east approximately 204 feet of the property (including the portion used for Washington Avenue) from the R0 Single Family District that would be established with annexation of the property to the CC Community District. No changes in land use is contemplated with this Zoning Map Amendment. This portion of the property is presently zoned B1 Business use in unincorporated Kane County and contains commercial uses.
