NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, 7:00 P.M. in the Buechner Room, 1st Floor of the Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois, at which time the Zoning Board of Appeals will consider a request for:
• A 1-foot variance to allow a 4-foot, open style fence to be located in the required front yard where the maximum fence height is 3-feet in the required front yard.
Any person who also desires to formally register as an objector, with the right to cross-examine others at the hearing, must complete and file an appearance form with the Village Director of Planning and Community Development, no later than 4:30 pm five days before the date of the hearing. Each bid must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid: SEVEN GABLES FITNESS AREA SURFACING” and addressed to the Wheaton Park District, 102 E. Wesley Street, Wheaton, IL 60187, Attention: Secretary of the Board. Bids will be received until 9:30 A.M. on January 29, 2026, at which time the bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at 1000 Manchester Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
The Wheaton Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason. Failure to make such a disclosure will not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action by any Bidder against the Wheaton Park District.
Bids shall not include federal excise tax or state sales tax for materials and equipment to be incorporated in, or fully consumed in the performance of, the Work.
