NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Vernon Hills, Illinois will hold a Public Hearing at the Village Hall, 290 Evergreen Drive on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a petition filed by FGM Architects, requesting the following actions to facilitate the Village of Vernon Hills Police Campus Improvement Project at 754 Lakeview Drive: (1) Special Use Permit per Appendix C, Zoning, of the Village of Vernon Hills code of Ordinances, Section 16A.3, Special Uses in the PIB District, and Section 18.3 (Special Uses); and (2) Variations from Section 16A.6 (required setbacks for building and parking) and Section 19.6 (required parking).

Subject Property: 754 Lakeview Drive, Vernon Hills, zoned PIB, Public & Institutional Buildings (legal description on file with Clerk's office).

Summary of request: The project consists of interior renovations of existing space in the two buildings, a parking garage addition, an addition for public facing space along Lakeview Parkway to connect the two buildings, and supporting exterior improvements.
