NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Vernon Hills, Illinois will hold a Public Hearing at the Village Hall, 290 Evergreen Drive on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a petition filed by A1 Senior Care LLC requesting a Special Use Permit for a senior day care center in accordance with Appendix C, Zoning, of the Village of Vernon Hills code of Ordinances, Section 13.3, Special Uses in the B-1 District, and Section 18.3 (Special Uses), to facilitate the operation of a senior daycare center at 565 Lakeview Parkway Suite 130.

Subject Property: 565 Lakeview Parkway, Suite 130, zoned BP Business Park District (legal description on file with Clerk's office).

Summary of request: The petitioner is proposing to operate an Adult Day Service (ADS) pending approval of a zoning code text amendment to define the use and establish it as a Special Use in the BP district. The center intends to operate Monday to Friday 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. with clients on site only during business hours.
