NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Legal Notice:Â Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the Village of Vernon Hills, Illinois will hold a Public Hearing at the Village Hall, 290 Evergreen Drive on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a petition filed by CPSPOM LLC, dba Daycation for Seniors Activity Center, contract lessee, requesting Special Use approval for an adult day service per Section 15.3, Special Uses in the ORD District, and Article 18, Special Use Requirements.
Subject Property: 6 E. Phillip Road, Suite 111, Vernon Hills, zoned ORD, Office Research and Development (legal description on file with Clerk’s office).
Summary of request: The proposed adult day service school would occupy 3,164 sq ft in the existing medical office building at 6 E. Phillip Road, Suite 111. The center will operate weekdays from 8:00 to 5:30, and will provide health monitoring, meals and snacks, exercise, games, social activities, and educational programs. The center does not provide transportation.
