NOTICE IS HEREBY given that on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the case may be heard, in the Itasca Village Hall, 550 West Irving Park Road, Itasca, Illinois, the Itasca Plan Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the petition of John and Alicia Rutili, owners, for the following variation:
A variation from the provisions of Section 12.03.8 of the Itasca Zoning Ordinance to permit a driveway one foot from a side lot line instead of the required five feet. The proposed variation encompasses approximately 20 linear feet of an existing driveway proposed to be replaced, and another approximately 20 linear feet of a proposed driveway extension. The property is zoned R-2 Single Family Residence District and contains a single family home.
This variation is proposed for the property commonly known as 412 Hickory Drive, Itasca, IL, PIN#03-07-204-006 and 03-07-217-015, legally described as follows:
LOT 26 IN ITASCA HEIGHTS UNIT TWO, BEING A SUBDIVISION IN THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF (RECORDED) MAY 8, 1956 AS DOCUMENT 799549 AND (CORRECTED) BY CERTIFICATE OF CORRECTION RECORDED JULY 2, 1956 AS DOCUMENT 806920 AND CERTIFICATE OF CORRECTION RECORDED DECEMBER 9, 1957 AS DOCUMENT 865182, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
ALSO
LOT 14 IN FIRST ADDITION TO ITASCA HEIGHTS UNIT TWO, BEING A SUBDIVISION OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 40 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED DECEMBER 10,1975 AS DOCUMENT R75-68904, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

The petition, drawings of the proposed improvements, and supporting documentation are available for inspection at the Community Development Department at the Itasca Village Hall, 550 West Irving Park Road, Itasca, IL during normal business hours.
