NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE
BOARD OF EDUCATION OF
KILDEER COUNTRYSIDE COMMUNITY CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 96,
LAKECOUNTY, ILLINOIS
TO EFFECT INTERFUND TRANSFERS
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kildeer Countryside Community Consolidated School District No. 96, Lake County, Illinois (the "District") will hold a public hearing on the 16th day of June, 2026 at 7 o'clock P.M. in the Educational Development Center (EDC) located in the Ivy Hall Elementary School, 1072 Ivy Hall Lane, Buffalo Grove, IL. The purpose of the hearing will be to receive public comments on the proposal to transfer, pursuant to Section 17-2A of the Illinois School Code, money estimated at the time of said hearing sufficient to fund the District’s FY 2026 Capital Expenditure Plan from the District’s Educational Fund to the District’s Operations and Maintenance Fund, to be used thereafter to fund capital projects in accordance with the FY 2026 Capital Expenditure Plan, recent capital improvements at various of the District’s buildings, and expenses related thereto.
