NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF WEST CHICAGO
A public hearing before the City of West Chicago Plan Commission will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of West Chicago City Hall รข€" 475 Main Street, West Chicago, Illinois, to consider the following zoning petitions:
Case PC 26-10: DS Containers, represented by Joe Koch, has petitioned the City of West Chicago for a zoning variance to Section 10.5-3(C)(4)(d) of the Zoning Code to reduce the required exterior side yard setback from 20 feet to 11.35 feet. The reduction would accommodate an expanded parking area, adding 11 parking stalls for semi-trailers associated with the business.
The subject property is located at 2500 Enterprise Circle in West Chicago, IL 60185 in the A Airport District and is legally described as follows:
LOTS 1 AND 2 IN DUPAGE NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY PARK 2500 ENTERPRISE DRIVE ASSESSMENT PLAT, BEING A PLAT OF PART OF THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 39 NORTH, RANGE 9 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF RECORDED APRIL 17, 2015 AS DOCUMENT R2015-39922, IN DUPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

All those interested may attend said hearing and be heard. Written comments will be accepted prior to, during, and after the hearing. Comments should be submitted to the Community Development Department located at West Chicago City Hall. The proposed zoning variance application is on file and available for inspection at the Community Development Department, West Chicago, Illinois between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This notice is being published by order of the Chairman of the City of West Chicago Plan Commission.
