NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Case No. PZC 26-006
A Public Hearing will be held before the Carpentersville Planning and Zoning Commission on March 19th, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. in Room 10 of the Village Hall, 1200 L.W. Besinger Drive, Carpentersville, Illinois 60110. The purpose of this public hearing is to hear testimony and receive evidence regarding PZC #26-006, for Re-Zoning of Six (6) Parcels on Alameda Drive, along with Three (3) Variations and any other entitlement action that may be required by the Planning and Zoning Commission, for 83 â€" 88 Alameda Drive.
Documentation for this request is available for inspection in the Community Development Department, Carpentersville Village Hall, Room 206, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. The Village of Carpentersville is subject to the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Individuals with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who require certain accommodations so that they can observe and/or participate in this meeting, or who have questions regarding the accessibility of the meeting or the Village’s facilities, should contact the Village at 224-293-1625 to allow the Village to make reasonable accommodations for those persons. All persons in attendance at the hearing shall have an opportunity to be heard regarding the request.

NOTICE OF BIDDING
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners of the Glenview Park District, Glenview, Illinois for CONCRETE & ASPHALT PROJECTS 2026 in accordance with instructions to bidders and specifications.
Proposals will be received until THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2026, 10:00 AM at the office of the Glenview Park District, 655 Zenith Drive, Glenview, Illinois, 60025, at which time and place all bids will be publicly read. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public opening is for information only, and is not to be construed as acceptance or rejection of any bid. Award to the successful bidder will be made within sixty (60) days.
Contractor is responsible for all measurements and must personally inspect the site to verify the scope of the work to be bid. The Park District has determined that the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this work and therefore Contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and shall pay, and require every Subcontractor to pay, the prevailing rates of wages as established by the Illinois Department of Labor for each craft or type of work needed to execute the contract in accordance with 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq.
The successful bidder shall also comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings, or enactments of any governmental authority which are applicable to the work or the project.
Bidders are required to use the proposal form supplied with the specifications. All proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked on the outside, "SEALED BID: CONCRETE & ASPHALT PROJECTS 2026"
