NOTICE OF ANNEXATION AGREEMENT HEARING FORÂ PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE VILLAGE OF LAKE ZURICH
The Village of Lake Zurich, Lake County, Illinois, is considering an annexation agreement regarding the annexation of the territory hereinafter described pursuant to the provisions of the Illinois Municipal Code, 65 ILCS 5/7-1-1, and 11-15.1-2 et seq. and that such annexation will take place not less than ten days after the publication of this notice. Consideration by the Village of Lake Zurich of an ordinance approving an annexation agreement and an ordinance approving the annexation of the territory will take place at a meeting to be held at Lake Zurich Village Hall, 70 E. Main Street, Lake Zurich, Illinois 60047, at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, November 3, 2025. The territory to be considered for annexation (“Subject Propertyâ€) is legally described as follows:
THAT PART OF THE NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 43 NORTH, RANGE 10, EAST OF THE 3RD P.M., DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, 990 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER; THENCE EAST PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, 1056 FEET; THENCE SOUTH PARALLEL WITH THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, 330 FEET; THENCE EAST PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, 833.8 FEET TO A POINT WHICH IS 761.6 FEET WEST OF THE EAST LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER; THENCE NORTH PARALLEL WITH THE EAST LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, 667.6 FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER; THENCE WEST ON THE NORTH LINE OF THE NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER TO THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER; THENCE SOUTH ON THE WEST LINE OF SAID NORTH HALF OF THE SOUTH EAST QUARTER, 338.7 FEET TO THE PLACE OF BEGINNING, IN LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS.

A copy of a draft of the Annexation Agreement containing the terms and conditions of territory to be annexed is on file with, and available for public inspection during regular Village business hours in the Lake Zurich Community Services Department.
