INVITATION FOR BIDS
Sealed bids for the THE LANDING SOUTH PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS for the Mundelein Park & Recreation District, as described below will be received at the Mundelein Park & Recreation District Administration Office, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein, IL 60060, 3rd floor, until 10:00 AM, local time, Thursday, September 3, 2026, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed envelopes are to be marked “Sealed Bids for THE LANDING SOUTH PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS â€" Mundelein Park & Recreation District.”

A $30 non-refundable deposit is required to download electronic documents for this project. This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: pavement removal, pavement overly, Class D patching, restoration, and other associated improvements as specified in the contract documents.
Bidders will complete a Qualification statement provided in the Project Manual to be considered for the project.
This work is subject to the wage provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. 820 ILCS 130/0/01 et seq. and the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Projects Act. 820 ILCS 265/1 et seq relative to prevailing wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any Public Works as amended by Public Acts 86799 and 86693.
Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Bank Cashier's Check or Certified Check in the amount of TEN (10) percent of the total bid amount made payable to the Mundelein Park & Recreation District shall accompany the bid.
All bidder’s shall complete the bid schedule. The Mundelein Park & Recreation District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and bidders and to waive all technicalities. Please see the “Contract Award” special provision for this project. All bid proposals submitted shall be valid for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days.
