NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS CONCERNING THE INTENT OF THE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY TO ADOPT A PROPOSED 2026 REGIONAL TRANSIT OPERATING BUDGET AND 2026-2030 CAPITAL PROGRAM.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regional Transportation Authority (“RTA”) will hold a public hearing in Kane County on December 9, 2025, immediately following the County Board meeting, which begins at 9:45 a.m., until noon at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Building A, Geneva, IL. The hearing will be on the region’s Proposed 2026 Operating Budget and Five-Year Capital Program, and the RTA will receive public comments on the aforementioned matters, in accordance with the RTA Act, (70 ILCS 3615, et seq.).
In addition, persons wishing to comment on the proposed items before or after December 9 may do so by one of three methods:
1) Email to communications@rtachicago.org
2) Telephone to (312) 913-3200
3) U.S. Mail to RTA ATTN: RTA Budget Comments, 175 West Jackson Blvd., Suite 1550, Chicago, IL 60604
Individuals with disabilities who plan to view the virtual hearing and who require accommodations should contact the RTA at (312) 913-3219, no less than seven (7) business days prior to December 9.

Notice is hereby provided for a public hearing to be conducted by the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Campton Hills, Illinois.

Description of matter to be considered: A revised Comprehensive Plan for the Village of Campton Hills is under consideration. All interested parties desiring to speak on this matter will be provided an opportunity to do so at the public hearing. Alternatively, comments or questions may be forwarded to: Village Clerk at tjohnson@ camptonhills.illinois.gov.
Background information: The Village’s comprehensive plan dates from 2012. Such plans are typically reviewed and/or updated every 10-15 years. The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted an initial public hearing on the draft plan in May 2025 and subsequently forwarded a recommendation for approval to the Village Board. The Village Board has deliberated on the draft plan and revised certain portions of the draft plan.
A staff memorandum describing recent revisions as well as the most recent version of the draft plan can be found on the Village’s website at:
