NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community Development Commission of the Village of Bensenville, DuPage and Cook Counties, will hold a Public Hearing on February 3, 2026 at 6:30 P.M., in the Board Room at Village Hall, 12 S. Center Street, Bensenville, to consider Case No. 2026-08 which is a request for:
Special Use Permit, Day Care Center
Municipal Code Section 10-7-2-1
The request applies to the property identified with a PIN 03-26-208-008 and commonly known as 227 W Grand Avenue, Bensenville, Illinois 60106. 207 Grand, LLC of 450 E Higgins Rd, Suite 102, Elk Grove Village, IL 60126 is the owner and Davinci Academy CDC, LLC of 227 W Grand Avenue, Bensenville, IL 60106 is the applicant for the subject property.
Any individual with a disability requiring a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in any public meeting held under the authority of the Village of Bensenville should contact the Village Clerk, Village of Bensenville, 12 S. Center St., Bensenville, IL 60106, (630) 766-8200, at least three (3) days in advance of the meeting.
The Applicant’s application and supporting documentation may be examined by all interested parties in the office of the Community and Economic Development Department, Monday through Friday, in the Village Hall, 12 South Center Street, Bensenville, IL 60106. All interested parties may attend the Public Hearing and be heard. Written comments mailed to the Village Hall, and online comments submitted on the Village website, will be accepted by the Community and Economic Development Department through February 3, 2026 until 5:00 PM.

Notice is hereby given to potential Bidders that the Wheaton Park District will be receiving sealed bids for the Prairie Path Park Playground Unitary Surfacing.
Bid Documents are available electronically from the Park District commencing on January 15, 2026, by contacting:

Each bid must be placed in a sealed, opaque envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid: Prairie Path Park Playground Unitary Surfacing” and addressed to the Wheaton Park District, 1000 Manchester Road, Wheaton, IL 60187, Attention: Secretary of the Board. Bids will be received until 9 A.M. on January 29, 2026, at which time the bid proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Park Services Center, 1000 Manchester Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
The Wheaton Park District Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a proposal and reject the remainder without disclosure for any reason. Failure to make such a disclosure will not result in accrual of any right, claim or cause of action by any Bidder against the Wheaton Park District.
Bids shall not include federal excise tax or state sales tax for materials and equipment to be incorporated in, or fully consumed in the performance of, the Work. An Exemption Certificate will be furnished by the Wheaton Park District on request of the Bidder, for use in connection with this Project only.
The Work of this Project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. A prevailing wage determination has been made by the Illinois Department of Labor for public works projects in DuPage County. The Contract entered into for the Work will be drawn in compliance with said law and proposals should be prepared accordingly and provide for payment of all laborers, workmen, and mechanics needed to perform the Work at no less than the prevailing rate of wages (or the prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work) for each craft, type of worker, or mechanic.
All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond or bank cashier’s check payable to the Wheaton Park District for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid as provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No proposals or bids will be considered unless accompanied by such bond or check.
The Contractor selected will also be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations and executive orders including but not limited to those pertaining to equal employment opportunity.
