TAX INCREMENT FINANCING (TIF)
“INTERESTED PARTIES” REGISTRY
Notice is hereby given that the Village of South Barrington, Illinois (the “Village”) has established a tax increment financing (TIF) “interested parties” registry pertaining to the Higgins Corridor Redevelopment Project Area, which is generally located at 51 Higgins Road, Cook County, Illinois and is generally known as the former Allstate site. A map and legal description of the project area boundaries are available at the Village Administrator’s Office.
Interested persons, residents of the Village and organizations active in the Village may register with the Village to receive information on activities related to any redevelopment project area within the Village; this includes information on the proposed designation of a redevelopment project area, the approval of a redevelopment plan, information regarding certain proposed changes to existing redevelopment plans, and any other information required by the provisions of the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act (65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-1, et seq.) or authorized by the registration rules.
Individuals and organizations are invited to register with the Village Administrator’s Office, 30 S. Barrington Road, South Barrington, IL 60010, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. Rules to implement the registration process and registration forms have been adopted by the Village and may be obtained at the same location.
