LEGAL NOTICE
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County (the District) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to supply individually bagged seed ecotypes originating within 200 miles of Kane County, Illinois. All seed must meet this origin requirement and be delivered by December 3, 2026.
**NOTE: ALL CONTRACTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC WORKS ARE SUBJECT TO THE ILLINOIS PREVAILINGÂ WAGE ACT (820 ILCS 130/1, ET SEQ.)**
Sealed Bids will be accepted electronically via Bonfire/Euna (kaneforest.bonfirehub.com) until 2:00 p.m. August 11, 2026. Public bid opening will be held at the District office on August 11, 2026 at 3:00 pm. All bids will be unsealed electronically. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Invitation to Bid is available at kaneforest.com/bids-proposals. All Bidders must create an online account with Bonfire to submit.
