LEGAL NOTICE
The Forest Preserve District of Kane County (the District) is seeking bids from qualified contractors for removal and disposal or pulverization and recycling of a 710 square yard asphalt parking lot. The Work includes grading, leveling, and compaction of existing and newly placed aggregate base; backfilling and restoration of disturbed areas; and pavement striping, including ADA-compliant parking stalls and required markings.
**NOTE: ALL CONTRACTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC WORKS ARE SUBJECT TO THE ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE ACT (820 ILCS 130/1, ET SEQ.)**
Sealed Bids will be accepted electronically via Bonfire/Euna (kaneforest.bonfirehub.com) until
1:00 p.m. September 3, 2026. Public bid opening will be held at the District office on September 3, 2026 at 2:00 pm. All bids will be unsealed electronically. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Invitation to Bid is available at kaneforest.com/bids-proposals. All Bidders must create an online account with Bonfire to submit.
