REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Long Grove Fire Prevension District will be accepting sealed lump sum bids for Bid Package #1 for a New Fire Station and Headquarters â€" the following Bid Packages our out for bid on July 16th: BP#1-03 Cast-In-Place Concrete; BP#1-04 Masonry; BP#1-05 Structural & Misc. Steel; BP#1-06a Carpentry & General Trades; BP#1-06b Casework & Millwork; BP#1-07 Roofing & Sheet Metal; BP#1-08a Doors, Frames & Hardware; BP#1-08b OH & Coiling Doors; BP#1-08c Aluminum, Glass & Glazing; BP#1-09a Drywall & Metal Framing; BP#1-09b Acoustical Ceilings, Treatments & Shades; BP#1-09c Ceramic Tile; BP#1-09d Resinous Flooring; BP#1-09e Resilient & Carpet Flooring; BP#1-09f Painting & Wallcovering; BP#1-21Fire Protection Sprinklers; BP#1-22 Plumbing; BP#1-23 HVAC; BP#1-26 Electrical & Low Voltage; BP#1-31a Earthwork & Aggregate Piers; BP#1-32b Asphalt Paving; BP#1-32c Landscaping; BP#1-33a Site Utilities; and BP#1-33b Septic System.
The Long Grove Fire Prevention District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept the bid from the lowest responsive, responsible bidder which is considered to be in the best interest of the Village. All bids are to be in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders at noted in the Project Manual. All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid amount, and the successful bidder will also be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond as noted in the Bid Documents.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the existing Long Grove Fire Station, 1165 Old Mchenry Rd, Long Grove, IL 60047. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
Sealed Bids will be received until Tuesday August 11, 2026 until the hour of 2:00 PM at:

The bid opening will be conducted in person or virtually shortly following the receipt of bids. Link to the bid opening can be found in the bid documents, “Intruction to Bidders”.
Bid Information and Documents may be viewed thru Building Connected website and at the Construction Managers office commencing July 16, 2026 until bid opening.
