LEGAL NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Geneva Planning and Zoning Commission has received an application for a public hearing from Jeff & Ann Douglas related to two variation requests for 813 Elm Avenue, P.I.N. 12-02-128-019.
THE APPLICANT IS REQUESTING 1) a variation to increase the allowable lot coverage from 45% to 59.4%, and 2) a variation to reduce the side yard setback from 6 ft. to 4.7 ft. for a covered front porch at 813 Elm Avenue.
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Planning and Zoning Commission on July 23, 2026, at Geneva City Hall, 109 James Street, Geneva, Illinois, at 7:00 p.m. All interested parties are invited to present testimony for or against the application and cross-examine witnesses presenting testimony for or against the application. Planning and Zoning Commission meetings air live on Geneva Broadcast Network, which can be viewed on Comcast Ch. 10, AT&T U-Verse Ch. 99, or the City’s Youtube Channel.
