NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Elmhurst Park District intends to contract for the 2026 Crestview Park Improvements â€" Phase 1 in Elmhurst, IL.
Bid documents may be arranged to be picked up at no charge beginning at 12:00 p.m. September 2, 2026, at the Elmhurst Park District Administrative Office, 375 W. First Street, Elmhurst, Illinois, and then Monday through Friday between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. An electronic copy will be available upon request.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. September 14, 2026, at Crestview Park Recreation Building, 245 E. Crestview, Elmhurst IL 60126.
Sealed bids are due no later than 10:00 a.m. October 1, 2026, at the Elmhurst Park District Administrative Office, 375 W. First Street, when they will be publicly opened and read. The scope of the improvements includes, but not limited to, miscellaneous playground improvements including demolition of existing, concrete and asphalt surfaces, aggregate base, drainage, playground equipment, shade structures, shelter structure, court surfacing, backstop and dugout replacement, and site furnishings.
This is a Prevailing Wage schedule project and the contractor and all sub-contractors are required to pay the prevailing wage for DuPage/Cook Counties for the life of the project and are responsible for keeping up with any changes. Certified payroll is required on this project by both general and sub-contractors.
