Sealed bids for Bid Package # 3 - A) Masonry (Exterior Stone Cladding & CMU), B) Miscellaneous Metals, C) Cold Formed Metal Framing - Drywall - DEFS Soffits - Thermal Insulation - Spray Insulation - Acoustic Ceilings - Fiber Cement Panels, D) Metal Panels, E) Roofing - Waterproofing - Joint Sealants - Expansion Control & Cover Assemblies, F) Curtain Wall - Interior Storefront - Mirrors, G) Elevator, H) Rough & Finish Carpentry - Doors, Frames, and Hardware - Wall Protection - Toilet & Bath Accessories - Fire Protection & Emergency Aid Specialties for Wagner Community Center, 615 N. West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126, will be received by Elmhurst Park District at the Administration Building, 375 W. First St., Elmhurst, Illinois 60126 until 8:30 am. on the 5th day of February 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the above stated time and place.
The Contract Documents and Bid Documents will be available on the Building Connected platform. To obtain a link to the platform, contact Andrew McDonough at amcdonough@mchugh.com. Any clarifications or revisions to the Drawings, Specifications or Bid Documents will be issued in the form of an Addendum.
Contractors are not required to bid on all the trade packages; contractors Must label sealed bid clearly with Package Letter and Trade only one trade per package. Examples:

Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond from a company with an A-1 best rating, in the amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to Elmhurst Park District, 375 W. First St., Elmhurst, IL 60126. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening date without the consent of the Owner. Bid Bonds of unsuccessful bidders will be returned as soon as possible as practicable after opening and checking the bids.
Successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the full amount of the Contract, acceptable to the Owner.
This is a Prevailing Wage Schedule Project and the contractor, and all sub-contractors are to pay the prevailing wage for Du Page/Cook County for the life of the project and are responsible for keeping up with all changes. Certified payroll is required on this project by both general and sub-contractors.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
