INVITATION TO BID
This is an invitation to submit sealed bids for “FLOOR COATING AT 390 GOLF EXPERIENCE”
All work shall be done in accordance with Federal, State and local rules and regulations. Contractor must secure and pay for all permits and licenses for removal and transport and disposal of waste materials.
Sealed Bids marked “FLOOR COATING AT 390 GOLF EXPERIENCE” will be received by the Wood Dale Park District at our Administration offices located at 111 E. Foster Ave, Wood Dale IL 60191.
Bids will be received until exactly 10:00 am on February 5, 2026, and then publicly opened and read. Bids submitted after the closing time will be returned unopened. No oral, telephone or email proposals or modifications will be considered.
Specifications and Contract Documents may be obtained beginning January 15, 2026, at the Administrative Office at the District’s Recreation Center, 111 E. Foster Ave, Wood Dale IL 60191, Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. or obtained via email from Jon Marquardt

Pre-Bid Meeting: January 26, 2026, 10:00am at 390 Golf Experience 1051 N. Prospect Wood Dale, IL 60191
Proposals shall be submitted on the attached Form of Proposal. All bids must include a ten percent (10%) Bid Guarantee and a duly executed and notarized Bid Certification under Section 33E-11 of the criminal code of 1961, as amended, on the form provided by the Wood Dale Park District. Failure to provide Bid Certification within 48 hours of the bid opening shall be cause for rejecting the bid. No Bidder may withdraw their proposal after the hour set for the opening thereof, or before award of the contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) calendar days.
COMPLIANCE WITH PREVAILING WAGE ACT: The CONTRACTOR is obligated to
satisfy the requirements of Section 130/5 of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/0.01 et. seq.) including, but not limited to, keeping a record of the name, occupation, and actual hourly wages paid to each employee. A signed, certified transcript of payroll will be required with each progress payment and upon completion of the contract prior to final payment. The contractor shall also supply a certified transcript of payroll for any subcontractors involved in the contract and includes those payroll verifications with all payment requests. Effective January 1, 2010, this section applies to subcontractors as well and is bound by the same prevailing wage requirement.
The Wood Dale Park District Board of Commissioners may reject any or all bids on any basis and without disclosure of a reason. The failure to make such a disclosure shall not result in accrual of any right, claim, or cause of action by any unsuccessful Bidder against the Wood Dale Park District.

PREVAILING WAGE LAW: This Contract calls for the construction of a “public work,” within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. (“the Act”). The Act requires contractors and subcontractors to pay laborers, workers and mechanics performing services on public works projects no less than the current “prevailing rate of wages” (hourly cash wages plus amount for fringe benefits) in the county where the work is performed. The Department publishes the prevailing wage rates on its website at: http://www.state.il.us/agency/idol/rates/rates.HTM. The Department revises the prevailing wage rates, and the contractor/subcontractor has an obligation to check the Department’s web site for revisions to prevailing wage rates. For information regarding current prevailing wage rates, please refer to the Illinois Department of Labor’s website. All contractors and sub-contractors rendering services under this contract must comply with all requirements of the Act, including but not limited to, all wage, notice and record keeping duties.
