The Village of Hanover Park, Illinois is soliciting sealed bids for the
BARTLETT INTERCONNECT IMPROVEMENTS
Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 AM, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in the office of the Village Clerk, 2121 Lake Street, Hanover Park, Illinois, 60133, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. It is the responsibility of the bidder to meet all requirements of the bid documents.
Specifications and complete bid documents may be obtained from the Village of Hanover Park website, www.hpil.org, under Bids & RFPs, beginning on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
The proposed construction consists of demolition of existing piping, fittings, and miscellaneous items; installation of new piping and fittings; replacing flow meters; replacing valves; installing two hydrants, painting of existing and new piping, fittings, valves, and appurtenances; and automation of motorized controlled valves and instrumentation; and miscellaneous items of work necessary to complete the project.
Bidders are advised of the following requirements of this contract: 1) Illinois Prevailing Wage; 2) 10% Bid Security with the bid submittal; 3) 100% Performance Bond; 4) Adherence to Public Act 30 ILCS 570 Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works projects.
Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision “Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals” (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the project site at 2401 E. Schick Road, Hanover Park, Illinois, 60133. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considered necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Hanover Park reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the bids. The Village of Hanover Park does not discriminate in admission, access to, treatment, or employment in its programs and activities.
