INVITATION FOR BIDS
Public notice is hereby given by the Villas North Homeowners Association, Northbrook, Illinois that sealed bids will be received via email for the Villas North Homeowners Association Pavement Rehabilitation. Bids will be received via email until 10:00am (Central Daylight Savings Time), July 17, 2025, by Ken Meek at kmeek@gha-engineers.com and Mark Cobb at mcobb@gha-engineers.com.
Emails containing bids shall have “Sealed Bid â€" Villas North HOA Pavement Rehabilitation” in the subject line. Hard copy bids will not be accepted.
A bid opening will take place privately and as-read results will be supplied to contractors providing a bid. Pricing submitted shall be good for a period of 120 days.
Bid Packets may be obtained via the Engineer's website (www.gha-engineers.com) by clicking the "bidding center" banner link. This link will take Bidders to the GHA QuestCDN landing page. The download cost for this project is $30. Please contact QuestCDN at 952-233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in free membership registration, downloading, and working with this digital information. Hard copies of the bid documents will not be available for pickup.
Work includes roadway pavement removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, driveway pavement removal and replacement, landscape restoration and other associated improvements.
All questions need to be addressed in writing to Mark Cobb at mcobb@gha-engineers.com (CC Ken Meek at kmeek@gha-engineers.com). Questions will be accepted until July 15, 2025. No questions will be answered after that date. A final Addendum, if needed, will be issued on July 16, 2025, in response to the questions.
State of Illinois, Department of Transportation, Contractor Pre-Qualification and Subcontractor Registration is recommended but not required.
The Villas North Homeowners Association reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any and all proposals for any reason deemed in the best interest of the Villas North Homeowners Association.
Unless all bids are rejected, the contract award will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. Bidders who are awarded a contract shall be required to provide a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in the total amount of the contract sum upon execution of the contract.
