  The requisite affidavit for publication having been filed, notice is hereby given to you, UNKNOWN OWNERS and NON-RECORD CLAIMANTS, Defendants in the above-entitled suit, that the above-named Plaintiff has filed its Complaint in said Court in the Law Division thereof, for condemnation pursuant to the eminent domain laws of the State of Illinois, of the lands and premises described in the Complaint situated in Lake County, State of Illinois, to wit:

Summons was duly issued out of the said Court against you as provided by law, and said suit is now pending.
 The said Complaint is for the ascertainment of the just compensation to be paid to the Owner, Owners, Interested Parties, or Unknown Owners and Non-Record Claimants for the fee simple title to the above-described real property described in Exhibit A and the temporary easement to the above-described real property described in Exhibit B sought to be acquired for the purpose of a public highway.
  Now, therefore, unless you, the said UNKNOWN OWNERS and NON-RECORD CLAIMANTS, file your appearance in the said suit in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Lake County, Law Division, Lake County Judicial Center, 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, Illinois 60085 on or before June 18, 2026 an order of default may be entered against you at any time after that day and Judgment entered in accordance with the prayer of said Complaint.

Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Plan Commission for the Village of Wayne will conduct a Public Hearing for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony regarding an amendment to Section 10-13-3D of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to Restoration of Damaged Nonconforming Residential Buildings in Residential Districts and an amendment to Section 10-7-5 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to hens, coops and pens.
The public hearing before the Plan Commission will be held on May 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wayne Village Hall, 5N430 Railroad Street, Wayne, IL 60184.
All persons present at the public hearing will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the Plan Commission to the attention of the Village Clerk c/o the Wayne Village Hall, 5N430 Railroad St, Wayne, IL 60184, and will be considered if received at least five (5) days prior to the hearing. The Plan Commission reserves the right to continue the public hearing from time to time and in accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
