Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Plan Commission for the Village of Wayne will conduct a Public Hearing for the purpose of considering and hearing testimony regarding an amendment to Section 10-13-3D of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to Restoration of Damaged Nonconforming Residential Buildings in Residential Districts and an amendment to Section 10-7-5 of the Zoning Ordinance pertaining to hens, coops and pens.
The public hearing before the Plan Commission will be held on May 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wayne Village Hall, 5N430 Railroad Street, Wayne, IL 60184.
All persons present at the public hearing will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. Written comments may be submitted to the Plan Commission to the attention of the Village Clerk c/o the Wayne Village Hall, 5N430 Railroad St, Wayne, IL 60184, and will be considered if received at least five (5) days prior to the hearing. The Plan Commission reserves the right to continue the public hearing from time to time and in accordance with the requirements of the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
