BID NOTICE The Village of Mettawa is seeking proposals for snow removal. Bid Submittal Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Bid Submittal Time: 10:30 A.M., NOTE: BIDS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE DATE AND TIME INDICATED. RETURN BIDS TO at the Mettawa Village Office, 700 E. Park Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048. 1.NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals for snow removal will be accepted until the date, time, and place indicated above. 2.Instructions and specifications are available from the Village Engineer, phone (847) 295-3322. 3.Sealed proposals shall be delivered to the above address at anytime prior to, but no later than 10:30 A.M. local time, on September 2, 2026. Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope. All proposals must be signed by an authorized representative of the firm submitting the bid. 4.The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to waive any informalities, irregularities, or defect in a proposal, should it deem to be in the best interest of the Village to do so. The bid will be awarded if at all, to the lowest responsible bidder as determined by the Village which will take into consideration the qualifications of the bidder, including but not limited to the proposed amount, conformity with the specifications, any other information which will assist in making a decision.
