Project Name: Landfill Bridge Rehabilitation at

Project Number: F-491-005
Project overview: The project consists of the replacement of the wooden decking and railings of the existing bridge over the West Branch of the DuPage River in Mallard Lake Forest Preserve.
Bid specifications, and bid forms may be obtained via District website at
https://www.dupageforest.org/about/bids-proposals or via DemandStar at https://www.demandstar.com
Questions shall be directed to Christopher La Marca at clamarca@dupageforest.org
The bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid security.
All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. No late bids will be accepted.
This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. The contractor shall also abide by the employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570, sec 1-7).
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for general contractors will be held in person at Mallard Lake Landfill Entrance, 1,200 feet east of the intersection of Schick Road and County Farm Road on May 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM CST
Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
