BID NOTICE
The Board of Park Commissioners of the Elk Grove Park District, Elk Grove Village, Illinois, invites Bids for the 2026 Administrative Center & Rainbow Falls Waterpark: ADA Surface Improvements for the Elk Grove Park District. Sealed Bids will be accepted until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 at the Elk Grove Park District Administration Building. The Bid may be awarded at the Park Board Meeting on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Administration Building, 499 Biesterfield Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
Copies of documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained by downloading & submitting the Google form “2026 Administrative Center & Rainbow Falls Waterpark: ADA Surface Improvements” to access this form go to www.elkgroveparks.org/bids then click on Contracting Opportunities.
All bidders must submit a Bid Bond or Cashier's or Certified Check for 10% of the total contract amount with their bid form. Bidders must note:
1. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, and plainly marked "SEALED BID â€" “2026 Administrative Center & Rainbow Falls Waterpark: ADA Surface Improvements” and have the bidder’s company name indicated on the face of the envelope.
2. Bids shall be submitted only on the Bid Form provided. The Bid Form must be completed in full and all total prices must include all work as stated in the specifications.
3. All Bids Submitted will be considered firm for a period of 60 days from the bid opening date.
4. All Bidders are required to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Park District, that they are capable and able to complete the work as required in the specifications. Each bidder shall submit with his Bid, proof that he satisfactorily performed work of a similar nature to that specified within the preceding two years, together with the locations and the names of the responsible individuals in charge of such projects.
The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work, and the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the Park District or the Illinois Department of labor shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work and it shall be mandatory upon the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded and upon any subcontractor under him to pay not less than the specified rates to all laborers, workers and mechanics employed by them in the execution of the contract or such work. Certified payroll is required on this project for both general and subcontractors.
