BID NOTICE
Sealed bids will be received at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, 3S580 Naperville Rd., Wheaton IL 60189 until 11:00 a.m. CST Friday, September 11, 2026, for the following:
Project Name: Maple Meadows Golf Clubhouse, Shade Structures & Halfway House
Project Number: Z-433-002
Project overview:
The work to be done for this project, shown on the Drawings entitled, “Maple Meadows Golf Clubhouse, Shade Structure & Halfway House,” prepared by Woodhouse Tinucci Architects, dated August 14, 2026, consists of:
1. Interior renovation of existing 7,000SF clubhouse. Adjustment to interior partitions, new finishes throughout, updates to food service areas and equipment. New windows, doors, and minor exterior masonry work. Occupancy is A-3, Construction Type is IIB, no change to existing.
2. Alternate #1: Replace clubhouse roof. See demo drawings.
3. Alternate #2: Provide solar panels at existing clubhouse roof. See roof plan.
4. New 6,000SF exterior paved patio space with 1,100SF steel framed shade structure.
5. New Halfway House building. 800SF. 1-story masonry and wood framed structure. Building includes food service space and restroom. Occupancy is U, Construction Type is VB.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for general contractors will be held at Male Meadows Golf Clubhouse, 272 Addison Road, Wood Dale, IL 60191, at 11:00 a.m. CST August 20, 2026.
Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
