The City of Des Plaines, will receive sealed bids for the:
Fire Station #62 Project
Bids must be submitted on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 1:30pm at the Des Plaines City Hall â€" 1420 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL 60016, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in Room 102. A Bid Security of 10% of the Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law.
Bids shall be submitted on or before the above specified closing time in an opaque sealed envelope. All bids will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, Room 602, 1420 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016.
Bidders are required to submit two (2) copies of an AIA 305-Contractors Qualification statement to the offices of Nicholas & Associates, Inc., 1001 Feehanville Drive, Mount Prospect, Illinois 60056, prior to the above bid date. A Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract will be required.
There will be a Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for all interested bidders. Location and time are as follows:

Time: 11:00am
The City of Des Plaines reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts of thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the City.
It is the policy of the City of Des Plaines, to provide equal opportunity to all qualified businesses in the awarding of contracts and accordingly promotes the utilization of diversified businesses to the maximum extent feasible in any contract issued against this solicitation to bid.
The bidder shall have a written sexual harassment policy in place in full compliance with Section 2-105 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
Bidding Documents will be distributed electronically, at no charge, on or after February 13, 2026.
