NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals for the Fire Station No. 93 Kitchen Remodel Project will be received by the Village of Carpentersville Public Works Department at 1075 Tamarac Drive, Carpentersville, IL 60110, until 10:00 A.M., local time, June 25, 2025, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The proposed project will consist of the kitchen remodel and associated work at the Villageâs Fire Station No. 93 located at 5000 Sleepy Hollow Road. All other ancillary work is required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications and all other applicable standards.
Prior to the June 25, 2025 bid opening, a voluntary pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 17, 2025 at Fire Station No. 93 located at 5000 Sleepy Hollow Road.
Bidding documents, including the Proposal Form, Drawings and Specifications, will be provided to the following:

American Reprographics Company (www.e-arc.com), 640 North LaSalle Street, Suite 240, Chicago, Illinois, will have complete sets of the Bidding Documents to prospective bidders and subcontractors available for download through their Public Planroom under the âPrint Centerâ link on their homepage. The Bid Documents will be available on or about June 13, 2025. There is no cost to download the drawings, however, prospective bidders must provide all requested information when completing the download process in order to receive proper updates.
Prospective bidder may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from American Reprographics Company at their own expense.
Each Bidderâs proposal shall be accompanied by a security deposit in the form of a Bid Bond as outlined within the bid package. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Additionally, the Bidder shall also provide proof of enrollment in an Apprenticeship Program should Bidderâs proposal amount exceed $100,000. Proof of enrollment requires registration and certification with the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Apprenticeship.
